What is likely happening
Repeated burner lockouts often trace to a dirty flame sensor or thermocouple, gas supply pressure, a venting problem, or a safety control shutting the burner down on purpose. Resetting it over and over hides the reason.
What you can safely check
- Note how long the burner runs before it drops out.
- Check that the combustion air openings in the boiler room are not blocked.
- Write down any lockout or error code.
