“Most Common Choice” Local Law 62/91 mandates that all boilers in buildings with six or more families and commercial properties undergo both external and internal annual inspections. The inspection cycle runs from January 1st to December 31st. As of November 2022, regulations also require testing of boiler controls and safety devices, which is included in our service fee. Filing fees are included.

NYC DEP Certificates of Operation are the required permits needed for boilers with a capacity of more than 4.2 million BTUs per hour. To renew a certificate to operate, a qualified combustion tester must perform annual combustion efficiency tests. Filing fees may apply.

Energy Benchmarking – NYC

$750 LL84 requires annual benchmarking data from buildings over 50,000 square feet to be submitted for public disclosure by May 1.
