Insparisk is hiring a licensed NYC DOB elevator inspector to perform periodic inspections and witness Category 1 and Category 5 tests across the five boroughs.
Insparisk is a New York City elevator inspection agency. We inspect elevators, escalators and related devices for building owners, managers and public agencies across the five boroughs, and we file the results with the Department of Buildings.
We are adding a full-time, licensed inspector to the NYC team. This is inspection work, not mechanic work: you inspect, witness tests, write them up accurately, and stand behind the result with the owner and with DOB.
Reports and scheduling run on our own software, so your day goes to inspecting rather than paperwork.

- Witness Category 1 and Category 5 tests and document the results accurately
- Prepare inspection reports and DOB filings the same week the work is done

- Identify unsafe conditions and hold that position when an owner does not want to hear it
